Main tasks & responsibilities
- Maintain and improve existing backend services (Node.js, REST APIs, WebSockets)
- Debug, fix, and optimize issues across the stack: from database to frontend
- Ensure reliability and performance of integrations with AI workflows (OpenAI APIs, vector
- stores, etc.)
- Contribute to and maintain the customer dashboard (Next.js + React)
- Collaborate with the CTO and engineering team to close tickets opened by customers
- efficiently
- Support development of new features as the product evolves
Requirements
- Experience with Node.js (Express.js or similar frameworks).
- Experience with REST APIs and WebSockets.
- Knowledge of Postgres / Supabase.
- Experience with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
- Familiarity with Git / GitHub workflows.
- Experience with or curiosity about AI systems (OpenAI APIs, RAG pipelines, vector databases).
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Experience with performance monitoring and logging tools is a plus.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving mindset.
- Pragmatic and detail-oriented, with a focus on maintaining and completing work.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Self-disciplined for remote work and willing to join periodic in-person meetups.
